"My Life on the Road Book Review" Gloria Steinem is a name that appears on the top list of anyone writing about the leading feminists in America. She is an iconic woman who decided to put her views on paper. Her fight for the oppressed women started in a different yet unique way. In her book, “My life on the Road” Steinem tells her story. She chooses an adventurous journey on the road to gather stories and reach out to special groups such as youths and women. The autobiographical story is a strong implication of how her ability to listen has helped her help the most vulnerable groups in the society. Readings this book I have discovered that the most captivating aspect of the book is the fact it covers several decades and waves of feminism throughout Steinem’s life. Such features make it an interesting piece to read and identify with great women characters across history. I could not fail to see that the author opens her story with her early childhood during the 1

Game design is a pretty peculiar and interesting field of art. On the one hand, its modern form has not so rich history and needs more specialists. On the other hand, games and people go side by side during the whole human history. And where games exist, people who create them also have something to create. Game design can be characterized as a science of the art of game creation. A game designer is a person who set rules and balance to a game. This specialist combines a number of skills: he or she should be communicative and have the skill to manage people and teamwork. The game designer should be creative and know both technical and humanitarian disciplines in order to create interesting conceptions and mechanics. It is a person who can be called the core of any game, starting from board games such as “Monopoly” and ends with modern blockbuster video games. And if you think there are no more duties for that kind of professional you are not completely right. T

The Secret to Why Asians Don’t Age!             Shhh…. I am here to let you in on a secret about what has been passed on to me for generations. So…. we’ve all heard about the myth that Asians don’t age, that they are secretly vampires from the east that scientists haven’t fully figured out yet. I mean, that explains why they are constantly hiding from the sun and even when they do go to the beach they wear outfits like the one shown below. I am here to tell you that we are not vampires but humans that have a long history of taking care of our skin, thereby giving the illusion that we don’t age. Often, people do not take care of their skin at a young age since their skin cells are still vibrant and continue to produce moisture, however, the moment they turn 30 or so they start to see wrinkles slowly emerging from their skin. I always imagine our skin and body as a vehicle, even if you are born as a Ferrari, without constant maintenance and refinery, you will slowly

Book Review My Life On The Road There was said enough about the bestseller by Gloria Steinem and truly the vast majority of the reviews had the positive shade. However, Gloria Steinem is the woman of multiply duties. She is the activist, the leader, and the writer, she is the person with the strong point of view, and the ground which she stands. Her story My Life on the Road is the autobiographical piece which makes it more possible to imagine the journey of self-realization, that have shaped the mind of Steinem. The title of the book is selected because it perfectly summarizes both metaphorically and literally the life of the author. From the beginning, Steinem emphasizes the influence of the road, which is present in her life, “When people ask me why I still have hope and energy after all these years, I always say: Because I travel” (Steinem xix). She describes the type of the journey, distinguishing it from any other, and evaluating it for better understanding. Such approach t
JOB DESCRIPTION My recently intern at Western Hotel’s accounting firm taught me a lot about the check and balances of a hotel business. I was assigned multiple tasks that not only challenged my statistical analysis skills but also my ability to think critically. As an accounting associate my primary task is to ensure that the billing receipts handed down from each transaction is not missed and correctly inputted in their QuickBooks application. I was also required to responding any customer service phone calls in case there were any transactions that the customer does not recognize. Accomplishing these various tasks trained my communication and executive skills that I did not have prior to this job and after working there for a whole year I came out understanding the hotel market a lot more than I first started. ·          Accounting ·          Statistics Analysis Accounting ·          Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and ana
